Grassroots EngagementGrassroots is the bedrock of advocacy for LAI. Having members voice their issues and concerns to policy makers and elected officials is the best way to effectuate change in Iowa. LAI will ask its members to voice their concerns through action alerts, LAI Day at the Hill, and specific requests to talk to your local legislator. Below are links to LAI action alerts, a how-to-guide on hosting a local lawmaker at your campus, and other information related to being a vocal activist for aging services in Iowa.
