As a part of the new Requirements of Participation (RoPs), each facility is required to implement a quality improvement plan into a full QAPI program by November 28, 2019. LAI is here again to help your team implement that plan with a hands-on workshop that will work though common problems organizations are experiencing. Participants will have the opportunity to submit their own quality improvement issue for the class to work through. With the increase in scrutiny, oversight, and regulatory efforts by both federal and state entities, it is imperative that we take the systems approach to managing our daily care and quality improvement in our organizations.

This is a hands-on class designed to develop and advance the QAPI process for your organization. We will identify several common system improvement opportunities and “problems” that your Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) may face, such as falls, new and worsened pressure ulcers, and hospitalizations, and will work through these scenarios together using the quality improvement process.

Registered attendees should provide a problem their organization is experiencing to work through in advance. This is a great opportunity to learn from one another and to identify strategies to break through those barriers when solving systemic problems.
