This full-day, interactive seminar focuses on the importance of the interdisciplinary approach to manage fall risk and falls. Discussion will include: falls statistics and what that means to your organization, intrinsic/extrinsic fall risk factors, root cause analysis, the impact of cognition on fall/fall risk and the development of individualized interventions based on interdisciplinary team (IDT) assessments. Group examination of case studies will facilitate discussion, problem solving and provide the opportunity for the sharing of best practices.
