This session of the Medicare Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM) Master Class Series will focus on best practices for data collection from pre-admission screening through day eight of the skilled nursing facility (SNF) stay. This webinar will review effective systems and suggested timeframes for resident assessment through an interdisciplinary team (IDT) approach to ensure accurate and timely information is gathered to appropriately report care and services provided on the initial Medicare assessment. Emphasis will be on critical data elements used in the calculation of the PDPM per diem. The Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) MDS Correction Policy will also be reviewed to ensure the appropriate correction of errors should they be identified.

This session is included in the 12-part PDPM Master Class webinar series focused on developing mastery of the skills required to successfully lead clinical reimbursement excellence under PDPM.  Participants may register for each of the 12 webinars individually or register for the full series at a discounted rate (LAI member rate is $700).  Recordings of the live sessions are included with the full-series purchase (CE credit available for live sessions only).  Click here for more information regarding the full-series purchase.
