Attend this basic to intermediate level program to update your wound prevention and management knowledge.  This seminar will discuss pressure injury risk factors, prevention strategies, and other hard-to-heal wound etiologies such as arterial and venous insufficiency, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure injury imposters, and more.  Content includes best practice recommendations for wound assessments, documentation, and reporting mandates from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. This course will include hands-on skills labs that review multiple assessment and treatment interventions such as wound recognition and assessment criteria, collagenase indications and current evidence-based treatment interventions. This program is appropriate for new and seasoned treatment nurses, facility, or corporate wound management leadership, MDS Coordinators, and others involved in wound prevention and management.

Who Should Attend
Directors of Nursing, Assistant Directors of Nursing, Unit Managers, MDS Coordinators, Treatment Nurses, Charge Nurses, Quality Improvement Staff, Staff Educators, Wound Care Provides, and PT/PTAs/OTs.
