You are invited to join us for our Director of Nursing (DON) Virtual Networking Event.  The DON Virtual Networking Meeting will provide an update on industry hot topics.  This meeting will engage in an informal networking forum to share ideas and insights into best practices.  Representatives from DIA will provide a presentation on the CMS Entrance Conference Document including items that DONs typically complete and what these items are used for during the survey process. DONs are encouraged to bring questions for DIA representatives to the Virtual Networking Meeting. If you don’t feel comfortable asking your questions, please submit them in advance to Kellie Van Ree at [email protected].

This meeting will be held in a virtual, live-streaming format.  There will be CE credit available through the Iowa Board of Nursing. The networking meeting will begin at 1 p.m. with a presentation from DIA with time allowed for questions or suggestions for the presenters.  Following the DIA presentation, time will be allowed for networking opportunities among members to discuss questions you have for other nurse leaders.  The DON Virtual Networking Meeting is available as a member benefit for LeadingAge Iowa members only and will NOT be recorded.

Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions/topics for discussion when registering.

  • Frequently cited deficient practices.
