Assisted Living Program Manager  (in-person & on-demand)
October 9, 2025 from 8:30 a.m.-4:15 p.m.
Location: Aurora Training Center, 11159 Aurora Ave., Urbandale
Elevate your leadership and ensure regulatory compliance with the Assisted Living Program Manager Training—an Iowa-specific course that fulfills DIAL Rule 69.29(5) and equips administrators, managers, and nurses with the essential knowledge and tools to succeed through a blend of on-demand modules and an in-person session on October 9.

Assisted Living Nurse Delegation  (in-person)
October 9, 2025 from 8:30 a.m.-4:15 p.m.
Location: Aurora Training Center, 11159 Aurora Ave., Urbandale
Meet Iowa regulatory requirements and strengthen your team with the Assisted Living Nurse Delegation Training—an in-person course designed to equip delegating nurses with the knowledge and tools needed to lead with confidence. This 6.75-hour training fulfills Iowa Regulation 481-69.29(6) and is required for all new delegating nurses hired after January 1, 2010.

LeadingAge Iowa, in partnership with LeadingAge Oregon, invites nursing home professionals from all disciplines to a comprehensive virtual workshop on October 16, 2025, offering an in-depth review of all 20 Care Area Assessments (CAAs) to strengthen MDS accuracy, enhance care planning, and improve resident outcomes.

2025 LeadingAge Annual Meeting & Global Ageing Network Conference  (in-person)

The 2025 LeadingAge Annual Meeting is coming to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center November 2–5, 2025. Dementia Leadership Course (virtual)
November 19, 21 & December 3, 5, 2025 from 10:15 a.m.-2:15 p.m.
The Dementia Leadership Course provides a comprehensive, interactive program designed to equip dementia leaders with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to provide exceptional care. Participants will gain practical strategies, connect with peers, and join a network for ongoing support and professional growth.

MDS Virtual Program (virtual)
December 10-12, 2025 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
This three-day virtual MDS workshop equips nursing facility staff and administrators with the knowledge and skills to complete MDS assessments accurately, optimize quality measures, and navigate PDPM and Care Area Assessments. Participants will review all MDS sections, identify common coding errors, and explore best practices for improving resident care and compliance.

Medication Manager Certification Course
This On-Demand course meets the Department of Inspections, Appeals, & Licensing (DIAL) requirements for medication administration in assisted living, adult day and elder group homes, which were effective March 1, 2021.  Registrants will experience a research-based course with video demonstrations, interactive activities, and quizzes to ensure comprehension.  The online, on-demand course has been designed to be mobile and tablet friendly, allowing registrants to take the course from any location with internet access.
