This engaging presentation will provide education to those who work with older adults on the prevalence, symptoms, and warning signs of substance use disorders in older adults and how to assess, refer, and treat them effectively.

Who Should Attend
Health care professionals including, but not limited to, therapists, social workers, case managers, and nurses. Appropriate for all provider types including nursing home, assisted living, and independent living (content may be appropriate for home and community-based services and adult day services as well).
