Courageous Leadership for an Age of Anxiety

In this keynote, Joe will describe personal leadership strategies to effectively influence and inspire teams in the face of the extraordinary challenges of the past several years.  Joe will explore why uncontrolled anxiety and fear lead to detrimental decision making in organizations, and he will share practical strategies for practicing leadership CPR (courage, perseverance, and resilience).  Finally, Joe will provide strategies to ensure that leaders remain at their best and able to serve others through self-care and renewal.

Joe Tye is CEO and Head Coach of Values Coach Inc., which works with health care organizations to design and build a culture of ownership on a foundation of values. He is the author or coauthor of 15 books and dozens of journal articles on personal achievement and organizational culture and a frequent speaker for health care association conferences and hospital leadership programs. He is a leading authority on strategies to foster a culture of ownership in health care organizations and a frequent speaker on values-based life and leadership skills and cultural transformation. Prior to founding Values Coach in 1994, he was Chief Operating Officer for a large community teaching hospital.
