Assuring quality of care and supportive environments can be challenging for community team members, family members and volunteers who want to meet the needs of residents living with dementia. This full-day workshop will share comprehensive resources with all participants, from the evidence-based research to the day-to-day practical strategies. Each segment will include hands on approaches and interactive discussion to maximize skills for strategies that can immediately be put into practice. This workshop is interactive and utilizes a combination of traditional lecture and group activity to advance attendee learning.
